A dollar amount is only one part of a junk car offer. Before accepting, make sure you and the buyer are discussing the same vehicle, the same condition and the same pickup arrangement. These questions help turn an initial phone conversation into a clear next step.
What information is the offer based on?
Repeat the year, make, model and whether the car runs. Mention missing components, major damage and anything you have not checked recently. Ask whether the quoted amount is an initial estimate or an offer based on the details already reviewed. If photos are old, say so. A misunderstanding discovered at pickup is harder to resolve than a clear description at the start.
What is included when you buy the vehicle?
Ask whether collection is included and whether the location or access could change the arrangement. Confirm the payment method and when payment will be made.
