Begin With Four Exterior Views
Photograph the front, rear and both sides in daylight when possible. Do not crop out wheels or damaged panels.
Document Specific Damage
Add close views of collision points, broken glass, engine damage, missing parts and the interior. Photograph all four tires when one or more are flat.
Identify the Vehicle Carefully
Share the year, make and model in writing. A VIN-label photo may help when appropriate, but send private identifying information only to the intended business contact.
Include the Parking Area
Step back and photograph the driveway, garage, gate or parking space. Show obstacles, surface conditions and room available around the vehicle.
