Before Selling a Company Car in Doral: Equipment to Review
A retired company car may still carry equipment that belongs to the business. Before requesting a Doral purchase offer, identify what is part of the vehicle and what the company intends to retain. That avoids changing the agreed package at the last minute.
Make an equipment list
List removable tools, displays, racks and other business items. Separate loose equipment from installed vehicle components. Ask the responsible person which items must remain with the business and whether anyone else owns them. Do not remove installed equipment simply because it looks separate; confirm responsibility and any removal arrangements first.
Describe the vehicle after planned changes
Tell the buyer which accessories will stay and which will be removed before pickup. Explain if removing equipment will leave holes, disconnected wiring or missing interior panels. Photos taken before removal need that context. The condition used to discuss the offer should match the condition expected at handoff.
Coordinate the handoff contact
Have one contact provide the vehicle information, explain business approval and coordinate lot access. Share gate or loading restrictions when scheduling rather than in public listings. Confirm the pickup window after the vehicle is ready and the relevant documents can be reviewed. Keep company records and personal employee items out of the vehicle.
Can I remove equipment after accepting an offer?
